MAP OUTPUT SURVEY IN
PROJECT „GIS FOR KAMCHATKA“
First group (picture1-16) are forest
management maps and data outputs, second group (17-20) shows the possibilities of using
GIS in nature protection.

Processing of map sheet (planzet) with six compartments on
the first locality in protection forests of Esso village. Compartments are separated by
colors and indicated by fraction - 1. figure is number of compartment, 2. figure is area
in ha

Detail view of compartment No. 63. Colors of forest stands
depend on dominant tree species and its stock. Another properties can be indicated by
hatching according to d-base.
